Have you ever heard that one of the famous Russian cars are produced in Samara region?  Yes-Yes, it is the most popular "Lada", which is easy to meet on every street! Students of the Summer schools visited "AVTOVAZ" to get acquainted with the production and personally verify the quality of the products.

On Monday, 20th of August students of StartUp Project Management summer school went to Togliatti to spend a day at "AVTOVAZ". They got acquainted with the production and personally verified the quality of the products.

 “AVTOVAZ” is a unique company, it is the largest manufacturer of the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance in Russia. The plant was founded in 1966 in the city of Togliatti, which is located 60 km from Samara. It is one of the largest car factories in the world and the only one of the Alliance that produces full-cycle cars and auto components for four brands: LADA, Renault, Nissan and Datsun.  LADA lineup is represented by five families of cars.

In addition to the "AVTOVAZ" students visited "GM-AVTOVAZ  - a joint venture of the American Corporation "General Motors" and the Russian "AVTOVAZ" for the production of cars in Samara region with a capacity of 95 thousand cars per year. Since September 23, 2002 the factory has been producing  Chevrolet NIVA car.
