Samara University has several museums, and some of them were visited by participants of Summer schools. The first Was the Museum of aviation and cosmonautics of Samara University named after S. P. Korolev, which is one of the leading aerospace museums in Russia. On August 6, students saw with their own eyes products and units of aviation and rocket and space technology created in Samara. Now they understand why our city is the space capital of Russia.
After the Museum of aviation and cosmonautics, students went to the center for the history of aircraft engines, which collects, restores and demonstrates modern and historical aircraft engines. The Center has all types of air-jet engines, as well as auxiliary and ground power plants, their drawings, technical descriptions and other documentation. One of the participants exchanged contacts with the guide, because he is just studying this topic. Participants took many memorable photos.
