On July 31, participants of the High Technology Management school visited one of the largest confectionery factories in Russia "Nestlé", aka "Russia" - a Generous Soul!", where they learned how sweet masterpieces are created and got acquainted with the process of managing of a large company.
Employees of the factory told the participants about the history of the company. Factory "Russia" - Generous Soul!" was put into operation in 1970. Later, Nestlé, which is currently the world's leading food and beverage producer and one of the largest and most dynamic companies in Europe, became a stakeholder. Today, Samara produces chocolate and confectionery products under the brands "Russia" - Generous Soul!", "Nestlé", "Nesquik", "Nuts" and others.
Participants of the summer school learned the process of collecting cocoa beans, their transportation and processing, visited the production line that works non-stop, and saw firsthand the gradual process of creating candy from the creation of product forms to its packaging. Also, the students got acquainted with the process of managing of large-scale production and the work of an industrial company.
The brightest and sweetest moment of the tour was the tasting of chocolate products of the factory, which was held by the staff of the quality laboratory. Also, each of the participants received a souvenir – a bag filled with sweet products of the company.
