Find out what it means to be an analyst, including
- what technical knowledge is necessary,
- how to perform business and system analysis
within different projects and products.
We will explain technical fundamentals (so it is ok if you are new to IT and do not have a background in systems development), show examples of using the system and business analysis instruments and techniques within a project and product management frameworks.
Even though you will cover some introductory material, you will also see and discuss real cases of applications development from Russian and international companies. We are sure that it will be interesting for experienced analysts: during the program, you can enhance your hard skills and then try to apply them during the case study.

We will talk about the differences of project and product management: Life cycle - how we organize our the work. Roles - what are the main responsibilities of project and product managers. Waterfall - let’s do it step by step. How to plan, execute and close the project. Agile - we will understand “The mindset”. Deep dive into Scrum.
Know business analysis techniques. Understand the appliance of different BP models. Write user stories, identify business processes. Create BPMN and EPC diagrams.
Differentiate relational and non-relational databases. Understand its areas of application. Know SQL basics. Create ER diagrams on physical and logical levels.
Know main types of modern architectures. Know the types of sync and async integration. Create sequence diagram. Read XML and JSON files.
Understand the process of testing, its main types and techniques. Create test reports.
Analyze the business requirements and transform them into technical once
During this meeting we will talk about the types of architecture and its place in the company management. We will focus on the development process and determine at what stages it is critical to involve architects and what answers and artefacts they provide. We will study a real-life case to see how business requirements change over time and how architecture supports those changes and helps to archive business results.
