Production and Testing of Aircraft Engines School of Samara University is an international project that brings together undergraduate and graduate students from around the world.
The program is aimed at training students in the development, calculation, design and production of aircraft engines and gas turbine power plants. Type of future professional activity of participants of this school is design and creation of aircraft engines.
This short-term program attracts everyone who is interested in studying the problems of creating new types of equipment in aviation, space and engine construction.
In addition, we are pleased to present an interesting program to the students with a visit to the aircraft engine research center and the training airfield of Samara University. The two-week program also includes an entertainment part with city tours, ethnographic lectures and museum visits.
Familiarization with the design of aircraft engines. Modernization of aircraft engine components with a design justification for design solutions.
Calculation of the strength and vibration of engine elements in the ANSYS package.
Features of the organization of the working process of lowemission combustion chambers of gas turbine engines.
The principle of operation of gas turbine engines of various types and schemes.
The process of designing turbo machines for gas turbine engines will be studied theoretically and in practice.
Analysis of the placement of ribs of various shapes, heat transfer, convection. Increasing of the heat transfer coefficient.
Up-to-date high-productive and automated technological processes of precise parts of engine production, including topics on cutting tools, cutting path programming, machining process simulation and machine tool set-up.
